1st Place Science Fair - 6th Grade Alpha Pod
Kylie's project called Red Rings - growth comparison on how a Red Pine Trees' location on a hill affects it's growth. She used an increment borer tool to take the 24 different samples. Then measured 11 outer rings (1998-2008). Can you guess what location on a hill the Red Pines grow the best?
